President Damon Beierle
Damon Beierle has been a dedicated local leader for over 20 years. Serving as Precinct 2 Commissioner since 2019 with unwavering commitment. Commissioner Beierle brings both expertise and a proven track record of effective community engagement and environmental stewardship.
Vice-President Gary Wideman
Serving the Burnet community has been a constant in his life since moving here with his wife Suzanne and their two daughters, Abigail and Caroline, in 2007. Alongside his professional career, he has contributed to local development as a Chamber of Commerce Board Member and Burnet Airport Board Member from 2007 to 2009. He furthered his commitment to public service as a City Council Member from 2009 to 2011, before being elected Mayor, serving from 2011 to 2017. After terming out, he returned to serve as Mayor once again in 2023, continuing his dedication to the growth and well-being of the community.
Board Member Frank Reilly
Frank Reilly is a seasoned attorney and former mayor of Granite Shoals. He has over 30 years of legal experience, including serving as a municipal court judge in Granite Shoals and as a Justice of the Peace for Burnet County's Precinct 4. Judge Reilly's commitment to public service, dedication to the community, and his extensive legal background make him well suited to serve in guiding the future or our community.
Board Member Joyce Laudenschlager
Joyce has served the Burnet Community since the mid 1986. Joyce first served as City Secretary and later as Finance Director for the City of Burnet and retired in 2014. Since then, Joyce has served 10 years as City Councilmember and serves on numerous committees. Joyce has spent nearly 40 years serving our community and brings a wealth of knowledge to the Board.
Commissioner John Packer
Mayor Packer holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin and brings more than 40 years of management experience to public service, including over two decades as a successful small business owner.
A dedicated community leader, Mayor Packer has been actively involved in the Marble Falls Economic Development Corporation (MFEDC) since 2009, previously serving as its President. Commitment to local growth and governance led to service on the Marble Falls City Council from 2010 to 2014.
Elected Mayor in 2015, Mayor Packer served through 2021 and currently continues to lead the City of Marble Falls in this role. With a strong background in business and economic development, Mayor Packer remains focused on fostering sustainable growth, supporting local businesses, and enhancing the quality of life for all residents.
Commissioner Dee Haddock
Dee Haddock has been a resident of Marble Falls for over 30 years. He is a retired USAF officer and healthcare executive. He served the community with multiple terms on the Marble Falls City Council, Economic Development Corporation, and Planning & Zoning Commission. He is an active member of the Marble Falls First Baptist Church. He brings a wealth of experience in planning, execution of plans, business operations, and budget development and execution.
